    Interfor sold the Val-d'Or sawmill to Les Chantiers de Chibougamau (completed 10 January 2025), and the new owner closed the mill permanently on 3 April 2025, citing US tariffs and fibre supply challenges (about 200 jobs across Val-d'Or and Sullivan).
