The new main saw line was being commissioned in autumn 2023 as the final part of a three year investment programme worth about 50 million euro, with full production expected the following year and output up by roughly 50 percent.

In May 2022 Kuhmo Oy ordered a Veisto SL250 main saw line, part of a modernisation programme, with the line due to raise capacity from 400,000 to more than 600,000 cubic metres of sawn timber per year and log intake to over 1.3 million cubic metres.
