The new sawmill with its LINCK saw line, integrated log sorting, planing mill, pellet plant and biomass power station was inaugurated at a ceremony in September 2025.

Rettenmeier has been present in Latvia since 1993 and built up its wood processing complex at Incukalns, which today covers more than 40 hectares.

Between 2019 and 2025 Rettenmeier Baltic Timber invested about 160 million euro at Incukalns in a new high capacity sawmill designed for more than one million cubic metres per year, a log sorting line, a planing mill, expanded pellet production and added drying capacity with biomass cogeneration.
